You Plus Two

Some direct sellers are reporting that they are getting a little resistance from potential hostess these days, as they are concerned about inviting their friends to a party where they might think they are expected to spend money.

First, of course let them know that there is never any pressure to buy and then suggest a You Plus Two Event. Ask your potential hostess if she can think of two or three friends that she knows will absolutely be interested in learning about/seeing your product. When she says of course- let her know that instead of a whole show, you can get together with her and her two friends for a quick get together where you can show them what you have, answer any questions and then tell your potential hostess will get any party benefits with out the party.

This works great to relieve any concerns she is having. By the way, forgo the whole presentation and games for this kind of event and talk to people individually about their interests and needs. By using the small group format for selling and really getting to know the small group, you can create a real rapport that can result in customers, hostesses, and even new consultants. Think about who you might call today for a You Plus Two get together.
