Farewell to A Friend- Warm Spirit I will Miss You
Last night as I used my Warm Spirit® lavender facial cleanser, I enjoyed the creamy texture and calming floral scent and used the jar much more sparingly than usual.
Warm Spirit® had great products and great people. I am sorry to see this company close. One thing Warm Spirit did right was emphasize personal and professional growth with their consultants. Any investment you make in yourself will always pay off.
To all my Warm Spirit® friends I have made over the last several years while presenting to consultants and being a guest speaker for conference calls I send you my support.
It is okay to be disappointed and discouraged- all feelings are valid. Do that for a day or an evening, mourn the loss of your Warm Spirit® dream and then use this ending as an opportunity to take a good look at your life and honestly evaluate if you want to continue with direct sales. Direct sales can still be the vehicle for your dreams.
If you honestly decide you want to dive in with a new company take time to put together strategically evaluate where the best place is for you personally.
Here are a few things to consider:
1. Look for a product or service you are ALREADY passionate about.
2. Look for a company that is responsive to the field.
3. Scrutinize the compensation plan and run some revenue scenarios to ensure that you can make a good income.
4. Talk to a few different consultants on different teams and ask them about their experiences with the products/services and the company.
5. If you decide you want to join a company pick your business partner wisely. Your sponsor is your business partner. Be sure to go with someone that you feel will give you the time and the expertise you need to build a profitable and sustainable business.
Stay in action. Make a decision to stay positive and continue to pursue your dreams.
